Bri-Glen Springs – Rally Volunteers and Competitors welcome

Brian Sambell, a local landowner and one of our Rally Supporters, has a property at Wonna in the Mid north Goyder Council Area.

It is less than 4 kilometres from part of the course.

There is an all conditions road in from the town of Terowie (12 km to the west ) .

The site is suitable for caravans ,mobile homes, camper trailers etc .The road out from Terowie (even if wet) is always very easy driving .

DIRECTIONS

Follow bitumen to Terowie (via the Broken Hill road )

Turn Right opposite BP Service Station ( great food, fuel, drinks and eats available here).

Travel out approximately 1 km, then turn right at cross road.

Follow out on this road, left (Hiles Lagoon road ), then right.  Turn left at T junction (Wonna Road right and Mallet Road left) and follow Mallet Road through scrub to cross road.  Turn Right onto Bri-glen Springs Road (Holder Road on left). Follow Bri-Glen Springs Road through 4 open Gates to shed (crutching and sheep on left ) turn right across paddock (through main gate ) and follow up into the Mallee Scrub where Brian will welcome you.

The area where you may camp is up in the scrub and there is a special camp site where you can park and set up at your leisure.

A MESSAGE FROM BRIAN:

You are to provide ALL your needs for your stay at our property “BRI-GLEN PARK”

Toilets and showers are not available There is plenty of fire wood (bring the chainsaw ) and barbies and a large campfire will be on the go so that you can all enjoy a drink or two under the million star skies that are always there.

Why not consider staying another couple of days and exploring the outback ?

A $15.00 Per  Day Donation would be appreciated which will go back into ongoing costs of the 5000 acres of Bri-Glen Park Wilderness Sanctuary for you all to use again sometime in the future .

I will be at the property from Wednesday of that week and earlier arrangements can be made by phoning me on  0417 826 560

or email your intentions to  [email protected]
